About

Why did I get into blogging?

I was wondering which career should I choose to follow at the university, and during a conversation with my father I discovered what I really wanted. I realized that I had two options ahead of me: to be a journalist or to be a literature lover. And I decided to go for a long journey with my favorite books and writers and so far I have not been regretting an inch of it.

When I started to watch Tumblr profiles and read fashion blogs I understood them like a way of inner expression, but at the time I did not realize all the future implications that it would have on me. I will not say that since I was a child I’ve been passionate about fashion and all that stuff, you already have a zillion bloggers proclaiming this. I am honest with you, my wardrobe is not a dream place and as a friend once told me “you know how to make people look good but you’re outfit is sometimes quite trashy (crazy?)”. It just made me smile and think about it.
As I previously told you on my first post, I decided to make this blog, for the main reason that I really want to give you my best tips on how to use a proper Panama Hat. I know them by heart and my advice for your daily closet will always include a several number of pictures of my colorful hats everywhere I can use them.
So are you ready to follow me? Put up your lovely Panama Hat under the sunlight and smile. Just smile.

Hi! I am a friend of your dad. I like your work ;-)
English is my mother tongue and I hope you don’t mind but I show you a few corrections:

    Hi Andrea,

I just found your blog on Panama hats and I really like it!
In a few weeks’ time I’m going to start mi «viaje del sombrero» through Latinamerica, also writing about it on
(it will be partly in German and partly in English – look at the hat map!)

Perhaps we can get connected, I’m sure there’s a lot for me to learn about Panama hats and maybe you’re happy about hat photos, contacts or crazy ideas for wearing hats from this journey ;)

    Best wishes
    Steffi
